The Network is a non-profit association.
We operate in Mato Grosso between the Xingu, Araguaia, and Teles Pires river basins.
Muvuca
Seed muvuca is a direct seeding technique for ecological restoration.
In a muvuca, we mix about 40 to 80 species of seeds with diverse and complementary biological functions and life cycles to restore degraded areas.
A social technology inspired by the ancestral knowledge of Indigenous peoples, enhanced by the work of the Xingu Seed Network since 2007.
Muvuca is also science, research, experience, and technical knowledge.

THE FUTURE IS PLANTED TODAY
AND IT CAN BE BETTER
As far as we are concerned, the future will indeed be greener, with forests and communities standing strong, living with dignity, respect, and joy.
There is no shortage of seeds
to replant the planet
>
what is missing is the commitment and courage
to make more muvuca and forests.
